We designed IDLive Doc for Portrait Substitution Attacks by thinking like fraudsters do. It addresses the portrait substitution techniques they most commonly use. This includes modifying a photo by physically attaching another photo. Knowledge of the specific document format is not necessary to detect these types of forgeries.
This is where our templateless document liveness detection technology comes in. Detection doesn’t come from verifying documents based on security features that are unique to each document type.
Instead, we advanced neural networks to identify common markers of portrait substitution fraud.
